We are so excited! We can't believe it happened so quickly for us.
Please share the news with Patti Connelly in your office, she should
remember me, I was the sparkle lady. I will be calling my OBGYN to
make an appointment tomorrow to arrange to have the necessary bloodwork
done and will keep you posted with any required information.
I'd like to thank you all for making this dream come true for Dave
and I. I can't wait to be on your testimonial page with our very own

I just want to thank Dr.Berger and all the staff @ Chapel Hill. I
was starting to doubt whether my surgery was effective. All I can
say at this point is GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND ALL THAT YOU DO. THANK

Subject: We Are Pregnant!!
Dr. Berger,
Do you have any idea how happy you make people? I am in 7th heaven.
I was in North Carolina for my surgery August 13th,2004. We started
trying in September. It is October 29th and I am 7 weeks along. I
have not contacted you about it till now because I have been doing
test and waiting on results. My HCG levels are over 26,000. I had
a Ultra sound and a pelvic ultra sound. The baby is in the uterus.
I even heard the heart beat. I was so wonderful I cried. You are the
best. And we thank you so much.
I came home with the attitude of if it did not work we tried. When
I told Roger he said. Boy that didn't take long. His sister had this
surgery years ago and it didn't work. So they kinda had the attitude
it wouldn't. Boy were they surprised. And I am so happy. I will keep
you posted. My due date is June 15th, 05. My birthday is June 30th.
Roger says what a good Fathers day gift. Can't wait.

This is our second pregnancy after the tubal reversal by Dr. Berger.
I became pregnant about a month after surgery, and Our daughter Elena
was born August 31, 2003. We're hoping for another healthy and happy
pregnancy and another safe and happy homebirth.

Subject: Great News!
I finally have a few moments to let you and Dr. Berger know that I'm
pregnant!! I found out July 13, but didn't have much time between
a summer class and not feeling well.
I have had 2 ultrasounds. The first was on July 13, which showed the
gestational sac in the uterus. The second was a week later, at which
time we saw the heart beat. The only abnormality my OB found was actually
w/me. She found an area on the ultrasound that was extremely "vascular."
She said I may have fibroids. She took a number of pictures and plans
to keep an eye on it.
My July 23 blood work showed an hcg level of 49,800. At the end of
August, I plan to have the ultrasound that looks for structural malformations
(not sure of test name). I also plan to proceed with an amnio at the
15-18 week mark.
My EDC at this time is March 12. Since I am unsure of when I actually
started my period in June, that date may be a little off.
My thanks to Dr. Berger for helping us get to this point. My husband
and daughters are thrilled and thankful that (God willing) our long
wait for a baby will be here soon.

Dear Dr. Berger and Staff,
In June, Dr. Berger performed the tubal reversal on me. After seven
years of having my tubes tied, I was nervous, scared and concerned.
All of you were so kind and patient with me. After "going in"
Dr. Berger discovered that my tubes were very short and that my chances
of getting pregnant may be slimmer than others. He gave me hope and
told me that it could happen, it just may take longer.
Well, today I am three months pregnant. And it is in the uterus. Patti
and the entire staff were very patient with me as I called and had
questions and of course fears.
I am very healthy and happy and will send pictures when the baby is
born.

Subject: 5 mos. pregnant
Dear Dr. Berger
I'm now 5 months pregnant and loving every minute of it. David, the
kids and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for doing a GREAT JOB!!
Keep up the good work.
Before I had the surgery I was told by the GYN Doctors that because
I'm 39 years old there was much hope. But I told them that I had the
best in the States doing my surgery and my faith in God.
I have told many others about you and your staff. They didn't believe
it could happen, but I guess we both made believers out of them.

Dear Cathy and the entire staff,
We just wanted to give you an update on our progress since April.
We've had a wonderfully uneventful pregnancy. Early ultrasounds confirmed
the sac and, later, the heart beat. Just last week we had another
ultrasound that showed a healthy baby girl!!! On Sunday we will be
at the half-way mark.
We simply can not thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough. We thought
this was such a long shot after all the failures with IVF. It all
still seems so unreal. Jeff and I both want to thank everyone at Dr.
Berger's office for the wonderful care!! We never dreamed we would
ever be able to get this far.
Please feel free to share our news with any of your patients who may
need a little extra hope.
